Located on the shores of Lake Ontario, Rochester and the surrounding area are considered part of the state's Finger Lakes region. The area includes Monroe, Ontario, Livingston, Wayne, Seneca, Yates and others.

The region is dotted with contributions from some of the greatest inventors of the 20th century from George Eastman and Kodak, Joseph Wilson and Xerox and John Bausch & Henry Lomb who created Bausch & Lomb. Those industries have utilized some cutting-edge construction techniques to build their empires. Our 150+ members located in this region continue to build up the City of Rochester and the surrounding communities.
Resources for Contractors and Team Members
Our regional office provides support and services ranging from our nine-trade Multiple Employer Apprenticeship Program to safety training as well as professional development. The Empire State Chapter provides craft training in the most popular trades, but our office has the ability to provide nationally recognized curriculum-based training in over 50 different trades.
ABC's Empire State Chapter has been approved by the New York State Department of Labor to provide our members
access to a state-approved, multiple employer apprenticeship program.
Our Multiple Employer Apprenticeship Program dramatically increases your ability to bid and win work.
